Document Search Overview¶
Generate AI PC’s Document Search feature enables you to upload, manage, and query documents using advanced AI retrieval methods. With Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), you can surface meaningful insights from your content—without the need for costly fine-tuning or dedicated GPU infrastructure.
How It Works¶
- Upload Documents – Add documents from various sources to a local vector database.
- Search with AI – Perform intelligent queries across your content using AI-powered retrieval.
- Get Context-Aware Results – Receive accurate, real-time responses based on your document data.
When you upload a file, it’s automatically converted into vector embeddings, making it ready for efficient and contextual AI-driven search.
