Using Image Search

Generate AI PC enables you to search, manage, edit, and generate images with the power of AI. You can upload images from your local storage, organize them through settings, and use AI tools to create new images using Agentic AI Cards.

Uploading an Image

You can upload an image from your device directly into Generate AI PC.

  1. Click the Attach icon.
  2. Browse and select the image you want to upload.
  3. The image will automatically begin processing.

Selecting an Existing Image

To select an image you've already uploaded:

  1. In the left-hand navigation under App Usage, click Pick Images.
  2. Choose an image from your existing list.

Processing and Status Updates

After selecting or uploading, your image will automatically undergo processing.

  1. Processing
    The image will be embedded in the system. This may take a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on file size.

  2. Completed
    Once processing is finished, the image’s status will update to Completed, and it will become searchable.

Searching for Images

Once your image is processed, you can search for it using text-based queries.

  1. Enter a text description of the image into the search bar.
  2. The system retrieves images that match the visual description.

The system will return images that closely match the description.

If no results are found, the system will display: "Images are not found!"

Editing Images

After retrieving an image, you can make AI-powered edits to it.

  1. Select the image you want to edit.
  2. Draw a bounding box around the area you want to modify.
  3. Enter a text prompt describing the changes you want.
  4. Press Enter, and the system will apply the edits.

Generating New Images

Using Agentic AI Cards, you can create brand-new images useing cloud based DALL-E image generation.

  1. Select a card (e.g., Create a Computer Wallpaper).
  2. Enter a prompt describing the image you want to generate.
  3. Once the image is generated:
    • Enter a file name.
    • Choose a file type (PNG or JPG) to save it.
