Authentication & User Access

Authentication and user access settings allow administrators to configure secure login methods, manage role-based permissions, and define access control for Generate Enterprise features like Service Pilot, Database Search, and Document Search.

Authentication Methods

  • Auth0 Authentication

    • Domain: Enter your Auth0 domain.
    • Client ID: Paste the Auth0 Client ID.
    • Client Secret: Paste the Auth0 Client Secret.

    Click Upload Key to save credentials.

  • LDAP Authentication

    • Server: LDAP host address.
    • Port: LDAP port number.
    • Bind DN: Distinguished Name for binding.
    • Password: LDAP bind password.

    Used for enterprise directory-based authentication.

  • File-Based Authentication

    • Download Template: Get the Excel template.
    • Fill Credentials: Add user credentials (avoid commas).
    • Upload File: Upload the completed Excel file.

Once authentication is configured, users can securely log in to Generate Enterprise.

User Access Management

  • User Groups

    Define groups with feature access:

    • Service Pilot
    • Database Search
    • Document Search

    Assign users to groups to grant permissions.

  • Individual Users

    • View and search individual users.
    • Modify permissions per feature.
    • Switch to Users tab to manage access levels.

By managing authentication methods and user permissions, enterprises ensure secure, role-based access control across Generate Enterprise.
